Marlins minor leaguer hits the luckiest home run ever

Alex Jones hit a real (Grass)hopper.

Alex Jones, a catcher for the Greensboro Grasshoppers, thought he had hit an average fly ball to the left-center field gap in the fifth inning of Sunday’s game against the Kannapolis Intimidators.

But then Kannapolis outfielders Joel Booker and Jameson Fisher forgot how to use their gloves. Enjoy.

Yes, Jones picked up his second career minor league home run with the help of the glove and body of two outfielders in the White Sox organization.

I guess you could say Jones got a couple lucky ‘hops’ on that play.

Anyhow, Jose Canseco would be proud.
