FOX Sports Florida will broadcast 150 Marlins games in 2017, the network announced Thursday. Each of those matchups can also be watched live using the FOX Sports GO mobile app.
Rich Waltz is entering his 13th season as Miami’s play-by-play man and will be joined by former Marlin Todd Hollandsworth, who is entering his first season with Miami’s broadcast team.
Preston Wilson, Jeff Conine and Jeff Nelson and Jessica Blaylock will all return to their familiar roles in 2017.
Two Marlins games will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 1 and another pair will appear on FOX Sports Sun when the club plays the Rays.
A note on Marlins Opening Day coverage:
Opening Day coverage begins live from Nationals Park at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, April 3, when the Marlins take on the Washington Nationals. FOX Sports Florida will offer a special, one-hour pregame show at 6 p.m. prior to the Marlins home opener vs. the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday, April 11. All broadcasts will feature half-hour Marlins LIVE pregame shows along with extended postgame coverage from site. Marlins LIVE will originate from Marlins Park for home games, while away games will air from the FOX Sports studio in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
