Stanton joins an incredible group of other stars, including Paul Goldschmidt, Nolan Arenado, and the Marlins own Christian Yelich.

The 2017 WBC will open up on March 6th when team Israel takes on Team Korea in Seoul. The tournament will conclude with the championship game at Dodger Stadium on March 22nd.
Team USA’s first game with be played on March 10th at Marlins Park against Team Columbia. All of the games in Team USA’s Pool C, which includes Canada, Dominican Republic, and Columbia, will be played at Marlins Park March 9th to the 13th.
Playing in Marlins Park should bode well for Stanton, who at home had a better batting average, on-base percentage, OPS, and RBI total than on the road in 2016.
If Team USA moves on past pool play, the later rounds will be at Petco Park and Dodger Stadium. That could also be good for Stanton, who hit a combined .333 at those two ballparks last season.
