Marlins vs. Padres: Game 130 Thread

Miami looks to close out week on a high note.

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

The Marlins will be looking for its offense Sunday when they take on the Padres. Miami will be throwing Justin Nicolino to the mound in the crucial rubber match. Nicolino hasn't started since July 6 when he went up against the New York Mets. He gave up four runs on four hits in four innings of work in the loss.

For the Padres, Luis Perdomo will be looking to pitch another gem. He went seven innings of beautiful baseball in his last start versus the Diamondbacks last Sunday, giving up no earned runs on just five hits.

Miami is staying within striking distance of the Cardinals in the wild card race and will need to pick up a win today. The game is scheduled to start at 1:10.
