Coming off of a three-game sweep of the Pirates, Miami looks to take down Kansas City amid more injuries.
|Team||Starter||ERA||FIP||2016 ZIPS Projected ERA|
|MIA||Andrew Cashner||4.92||4.89||4.30 |
Cashner (4-9) and Ventura (8-9) have had pretty similar seasons so far. Their strikeout and walk rates are almost identical and both have high BABIPs, although Cashner's really stands out at .306. The Marlins' near-deadline acquisition has been mediocre through his first six starts with the squad, but only surrendered one run in a five-inning no decision last start against the Reds.
