The 2017 Major League Baseball All-Star Game will be played at Marlins Park next summer, and Commissioner Rob Manfred was in Miami on Wednesday to reveal the logo.
As you would expect, the logo isn’t very different from the Marlins logo. This is probably exactly how the Marlins wanted it to look:

Major League Baseball has a sponsor with the logo each year, so the MasterCard advertisement won’t necessarily be a constant.
The logo made some think of Giancarlo Stanton, who will almost certainly be hitting monster home runs during the Home Run Derby.

Well, you really didn’t have to wait very long for that dinger. The Marlins and Phillies finish their three game series at Marlins Park on Wednesday afternoon, and Giancarlo Stanton went deep in the first inning against Zach Eflin.
It’s probably not a coincidence. Stanton provided a preview of what’s to come next summer at Marlins Park.
