New Orleans Zephyrs (45-46)
On Saturday night, the New Orleans Zephyrs defeated the 47-44 Fresno Grizzlies, 5-1 in front of 6,511 at Zephyr Field.
Justin Nicolino (4-3, 2.44) got the win, going six full innings, striking out four, and allowing only three hits, for no walks and no runs. Nico got 60-of-89 pitches over the plate for a 74 GameScore. His opponent, Mike Hauschild (7-8, 2.81) took the loss, striking out six and giving up four runs (three earned) on eight hits in six innings. Hauschild earned a 54 GameScore with 27 balls and 56 strikes.

New Orleans scored first in the bottom of the fifth. Isaac Galloway hit a one-out double, Kenny Wilson got hit by a pitch, then they both scored on an Adrian Nieto single and a Tyler Heineman throwing error. Neito scored when Robert Andino singled to left field for a 3-0 lead. The Zeps added a run in the sixth, when Matt Juengel scored on a Tomas Telis single to left field.
Fresno scored their run in the seventh on a Teoscar Hernandez (3) home run to left center field, but it wasn't enough. New Orleans reestablished their four run lead in the eighth when Destin Hood scored on a Matt Juengel double.

Jacksonville Suns (41-51)
Jacksonville hosted the Pensacola Blue Wahoos (52-40) with 5,676 in attendance at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville, and lost by a 5-2 final.
The Wahoos scored three in the first on two home runs, a solo shot by Taylor Sparks (4) and a two run job by Brandon Dixon (12). Ray Chang scored in the second on a Rookie Davis single, and Pensacola made it 5-0 in the third on Dixon's (13) second homer of the game. Jacksonville scored their two runs in the fifth inning, on a Cam Maron (1) two-run shot.

Jupiter Hammerheads (44-47)
The Hammerheads defeated the Brevard County Manatees (29-61), 3-1 with 1,120 present at Space Coast Stadium on Saturday night.
Jeff Brigham (4-5, 4.24) struck out four in five innings for the win, allowing only an unearned run on five hits and a walk. He got 49-of-76 over the plate. Freddy Peralta started for the Manatees and gave up one run on three hits and three walks in five innings. Peralta had 42-of-73 pitches in the zone, and both pitchers finished with a GameScore of 59. Jon Perrin (1-7, 3.24) relieved Peralta and pitched the final four innings, striking out five and giving up two earned runs on five hits.

Batavia lost their sixth game in a row in a Saturday evening matchup with the 13-16 Aberdeen Ironbirds by a 9-0 final score in front of 808 at Dwyer Stadium.
Reilly Hovis (2-3, 6.23) finished the game with a GameScore of 23, allowing six earned runs on 10 hits and a walk in only 3.1 innings. Jeong-Hyeon Yoon (1-2, 4.11) earned the win for the Ironbirds in relief, fanning two and allowing a hit and a walk in 2.2 innings.
