Marlins vs. Rockies: Game 68 Thread

Wei-Yin Chen hopes to limit home runs this time around

Jesse Johnson-USA TODAY Sports

At 4:10, Wei-Yin Chen (4-2) and the Miami Marlins will face Tyler Chatwood (8-4) and the Colorado Rockies at Marlins Park for game two of this four-game series. If the Marlins are to limit the Rockies offensively like they did last evening in their 5-1 win, Chen will have to pitch better than he did in his last outing against the San Diego Padres in which he gave up four home runs. He became the first pitcher in Marlins history to surrender four home runs and still earn the W, and he was very lucky that all the homers were solos.

Chatwood, meanwhile, is better at limiting the home runs. He's yielded just six homers in 84 innings of work, and none during his last five starts. The other problem is this: his .065 ERA on the road is the best in the Majors.
