NL West Notes: Lincecum impresses in training session, Arenado atop the leaderboards

Here's what's happening around the National League West.

Andy Marlin-USA TODAY Sports

Tim Lincecum, currently a free agent, showed signs of his former successes when a video of his recent training session was videotaped.

The 31-year-old free agent featured decent velocity, with a fastball topping out in the low 90s. His slider likely reminded Giants fans of earlier days, and despite some shaky throws, Lincecum looked comfortable, and it wouldn't be out of the question to see the righty back in the game sometime soon. Dressed in a black t-shirt and cargo shorts, Lincecum didn't dress to impress, but he let his pitching do the talking.
