Marlins vs. Braves: Game 50 Thread

We can mercifully say goodbye to Turner Field, for now.

With today's game, the Marlins have 14 more games against the Braves this season (which, at this point, we probably shouldn't be looking forward to), eight of which will be played at Turner Field. We talked about the dubious history of the Marlins there yesterday, so I wont rehash it here.

Leading the Marlins' last stand to take something good out of this series is Tom Koehler, barring the gates of happiness on behalf of the Braves is Julio Teheran.

Pitching Match-up

Team Starter ERA FIP ZIPS Projected ERA
ATL Julio Teheran 2.57 3.48 3.65
MIA Tom Koehler 4.79 4.41 4.25

Today's Lineups

MIAMI MARLINS ATLANTA BRAVES
Ichiro Suzuki - RF Ender Inciarte - CF
Martin Prado - 3B Gordon Beckham - 2B
Christian Yelich - LF Freddie Freeman - 1B
Marcell Ozuna - CF Jeff Francoeur - LF
Justin Bour - 1B Nick Markakis - RF
Derek Dietrich - 2B A.J. Pierzynski - C
Miguel Rojas - SS Adonis Garcia - 3B
Jeff Mathis - C Chase d'Arnaud - SS
Tom Koehler - RHP Julio Teheran - RHP

Giancarlo Stanton is still out, so Ichiro! once again patrols right field. Yelich is back in the lineup batting third, Miguel Rojas spells Adeiny Hechavarria at SS batting seventh, Jeff Mathis in at catcher for J.T. Realmuto batting eighth.

Notes

- The Braves apparently aren't interested in trading Julio Teheràn.
