A back and forth affair ends in a one-run win for the Marlins.

Motter batted seventh from shortstop for the Rays. He drew a bases loaded walk in the first inning to give Tampa Bay a 2-0 lead (+9.0%), then flew out to left with a man on first to end the third (-2.5%). He hit a leadoff homer in the sixth to get the Rays to within a run at 5-4 (+12.2%), then doubled in Tim Beckham in the seventh to give the Rays a 6-5 lead (+16.0%).
