Eduardo Perez, Preston Wilson, Al Leiter named new Marlins color analysts

The three will split time in the booth with Rich Waltz.

Al Leiter, Eduardo Perez and Preston Wilson will split timer as Marlins color analysts in 2016, FOX Sports Florida announced Friday.

The trio will join Rich Waltz as he enters his 12th season with Miami. Former Marlins color analyst Tommy Hutton did not have his contract renewed in December.

"These three former Marlins will take turns providing their baseball expertise and unique perspectives for fans tuning in throughout Florida," FOX Sports Florida SVP and General Manager Steve Tello said in a press release. "Together, these new voices for out broadcast compliment what is shaping up to be a very exciting year for the Marlins."

Perez is currently a member of ESPN's Baseball Tonight crew and was recently named to the Monday Night Baseball team.

Wilson is entering his fifth season with FOX Sports Florida. He has seen time as a pregame, in-game and postgame reporter.

Leiter is heading into his 11th year as a color analyst for the Yankees on the YES network.
