ESPN just released its Sunday Night Baseball schedule for the 2017 season, and the Marlins are on the docket.

Miami will appear in the second Sunday Night Baseball installment of the 2017 season as they take on the Mets at Citi Field on Apr. 9 at 8 p.m. on ESPN.

The team’s ability to contend last season up until the final few weeks definitely helped them make in on the schedule, and their new top-notch bullpen and exciting offense now makes the Marlins an exciting team to watch.

The Marlins have not been on the regular Sunday Night Baseball schedule for a while, but they did appear in this ESPN slot last season when they took on the Braves at a military base in Fort Bragg, N.C.

The SNB schedule for ESPN has only been released for games through July 23, so if the Marlins are in contention in 2017, there could be even more chances to play in a nationally televised game.

The full Sunday Night Baseball schedule through July can be found here.
