MLB Scores: Marlins 6, Mets 0

The Marlins beat the Mets in a three game series.

On Wednesday night, the Marlins wrapped up a three game series with the Mets in winning fashion. Adam Conley pitched a shutout in the 6-0 win and the Fish hit three home runs.

There wasn't much action in New York until the fourth inning when Martin Prado hit a solo home run off Bartolo Colon. In the next inning J.T. Realmuto also hit a solo shot putting the Marlins up 2-0.

In the sixth inning Justin Bour hit a sacrifice fly to center field allowing Dee Gordon to score.

Miami's third home run of the game came in the eighth inning from Justin Bour while the Mets reliever Tyler Clippard was pitching.

The Marlins put their last two runs on the board in the ninth innings when Dee Gordon and Christian Yelich hit RBI singles.

In the win Conley gave up no runs with six strikeout over an impressive seven innings of work.
