Coming off a series win against the Brewers, the Fish won again Friday night in Miami. In the no decision Jarred Cosart gave up no earned runs over five innings of work. The Nationals are now 8.5 games behind the Mets in the NL East. AJ Ramos collected his 25th save of the season in the win.

In the fourth inning Marcell Ozuna got on base after a fielders choice. This allowed Martin Prado to score while Justin Bour was out at second.

The Nationals tied the game up in the six when Wilson Ramos hit a sacrifice fly that allowed Yunel Escobar to score.

Miami scored the game winning run in the seventh inning when Miguel Rojas hit a sacrifice fly scoring JT Realmuto.
