With both the Marlins and the Mets coming off wins in their last games, we are in for a very exciting series. The Mets just finished off a series sweep of the Nationals with newly acquired Yoenis Cespedes and Juan Uribe. Tonight on the mound Tom Koehler will face Bartolo Colon.
Koehler's last start he gave up five earned runs over six innings of work in a loss to the Nationals. In his start against the Mets in New York back in May he gave up five earned runs in just 3.1 innings in a 9-5 no decision win. Earlier in April he gave up seven earned runs in 3.1 innings of work in a 7-6 loss.
Bartolo Colon has been up and down all season. In his last start he gave up six earned runs in just 2.1 innings.
