After a 9-7 win last night in Miami, the Fish couldn't take game two of the four game series at home Friday night.

Kendry Flores struggled in his first major league start, giving up five earned runs over just five innings of work. The Phillies' Jerad Eickhoff pitched a gem in his first MLB appearance, giving up no earned runs over six innings of work . Miami's only sign of life on offense was a solo homerun from Derek Dietrich in the seventh. On defense, the Fish had three costly errors in the game.

Odubel Herrera started off the Phillies' seven run campaign in the fourth with an RBI single that drove in Andres Blanco. Later in the inning, Freddy Galvis hit a sacrifice fly that allowed Herrera to score. An error by Cole Gillespie allowed Ryan Howard to move to third and Dominic Brown to second. Both would later score after a single from Eickhoff. Gillespie committed another on the play.

In the fifth inning, Ryan Howard hit a double that drove in Herrera. An error by Derek Dietrich allowed Freddy Glavis to score on a single from Cameron Rupp.

Ryan Howard ended the game with a bang in the ninth, htting a two run shot with Herrera on base.

Erik Cordier and Kyle Barraclough each made appearances for two innings giving up a run a piece.
