Marlins News

A couple of weeks ago, Giancarlo Stanton's rehab progression was paused after his hand was not progressively feeling better. Some good news finally came surrounding the Marlins slugger on Monday, when the team announced that Stanton had began facing a pitching machine and live batting practice.

Marcell Ozuna was recently called up from the minors after Christian Yelich was sent to the disabled list. After a rocky season, could Ozuna be a trade candidate?

Jeffrey Loria has reportedly received offers inquiring about a possible sale of the Marlins, but the club's owner has no interest in giving up the team.

It has been a rough, disappointing season for the Miami Marlins, but with still over a month of games left to play here are six things to keep an eye on the rest of the way.

Another starting pitcher is headed to the disabled, as David Phelps is headed there with elbow discomfort.

Around the League

Yankees starting pitcher Bryan Mitchell was struck in the face by a line drive last night and had to exit the game.

The league announced the postseason schedule yesterday, with the World Series scheduled to begin on October 27.

Matt Wieters is nearing a return as the Orioles gear up for a run at the postseason.

Johhny Cueto has been a dominant pitcher and part of that can be attributed to his array of deliveries.
