Miami was active in the days leading up to the trade deadline and so were the other clubs in the National League East.

Here is a division recap:

Philadelphia Phillies

  • Sent Cole Hamels and Jake Diekman to Texas in exchange for Matt Harrison, Jorge Alfaro, Jake Thompson, Alec Asher, Jerad Eickhoff, and Nick Williams.
  • Sent Jonathan Papelbon to Washington in exchange for Nick Pivetta.
  • Sent Ben Revere to Toronto for Jimmy Cordero and Alberto Tirado.

Washington Nationals

  • Acquired Jonathan Papelbon in exchange for prospects.

New York Mets

  • Sent Michael Fulmer and Luis Cessa to Detroit in exchange for Yoenis Cespedes.
  • Sent Casey Meisner to Oakland in exchange for Tyler Clippard.
  • Sent John Gant and Rob Whalen to Atlanta for Juan Uribe and Kelly Johnson.

Atlanta Braves

  • Acquired Whalen and Gant from New York.
  • Acquired Hector Olivera and Paco Rodriguez in exchange for Zachary Bird, Jose Peraza, Alex Wood, Jim Johnson, Luis Avilan, and Bronson Arroyo.

Miami Marlins

  • Acquired Kevin Guzman, Jeff Brigham, and Victor Araujo in exchange for Mat Latos and Michael Morse.
  • Acquired Ivan Pineyro and Elliot Soto in exchange for Dan Haren.
  • Acquired Tomas Telis and Cody Ege in exchange for Sam Dyson.
