Jose Fernandez made his first rehab start since Tommy John surgery but did not have a ton of success, allowing eight hits and five runs. But according to MLB.com's David Wilson, Fernandez is not concerned.

"I would love to go out there and give up no runs, but I'm trying to work on my stuff," Fernandez said. "There's different situations that I could've thrown different pitches and get them out or pitches that I know that they were not going to hit, but the pitches that I want to work on were where I needed to be."

Adeiny Hechavarria hit a home run on Sunday afternoon and it proved to be the difference in a win over the Rockies.

Miami will pick 12th overall in the 2015 MLB Draft on Monday night. The club could take a catcher or first baseman.

Jose Urena had success on Sunday over six innings against Colorado.

Brad Hand gets the start on Monday night as the Marlins open a three game series with the Blue Jays.

Pitching depth is an option for the Marlins in the draft. But adding infield depth could be, too.

Miami is seeking relief help, according to MLB.com's Joe Frisaro, and David Carpenter is a possibility.

Giancarlo Stanton continues to set home run records.

The 2015 campaign still has value. A lot of it.
