MLB Scores: Marlins 1, Dodgers 7

Miami scored first but was unable to hold their lead outside of the first inning. In Justin Nicolino's second career start he gave up five earned runs over four innings of work.

Meanwhile for the Dodgers, Brett Anderson had ten strikeouts. Giancarlo Stanton sustained an injury in his left hand during the game.  Stanton will have X-rays taken tomorrow. Stanton said that as the game went on the pain in his hand became "worse and worse," according to MLB.com's Joe Frisaro.

To open the game Dee Gordon scored on a ground out by Adeiny Hechavarria.

The Dodgers night was highlighted with a two run homerun from Scott Van Slyke in the second inning that scored Adrian Gonzalez.

Jarred Cosart replaced Justin Nicolino in the fifth inning. He would pitch until the eighth inning until Sam Dyson finished the game in the ninth inning.
