The Miami Marlins defeated the Washington Nationals 8-0 on Wednesday afternoon. Giancarlo Stanton and Michael Morse both homered as the Marlins roughed up starter Jordan Zimmerman. The Marlins now stand at 14-12-1 in Spring Training play.

The Marlins have just launched a Back To The Future II themed promotion. The movie Back To The Future II takes place in 2015 where a Miami baseball team (Which didn't exist at the time of the movie's release) losing to the Chicago Cubs in the World Series. As part of the promotion, the Marlins will give out "2015 American League Champions" T-shirts during a series against the Cubs.

Recently acquired pitcher Aaron Crow may need Tommy John surgery. The surgery will likely end Crow's season.

In the wake of a gambling scandal Jarred Cosart claims that he has never bet on baseball and never will. The MLB recently opened an investigation against the Marlins pitcher.
