Pitching Matchup

PROJ ERA FIP ERA MARLINS RAYS ERA FIP

Tampa will start Chris Archer in today's game. This is his second start of the season. In his first start of the year he gave up 3 earned runs against the Orioles in a 2-6 loss.

The Marlins projected starter Jarred Cosart has had a very eventful start to his season even before he made his first start. There has been speculation that Cosart bet on baseball. After an investigation commissioner Manfred only fined Cosart. In addition to this Cosart was expected to take the mound earlier this season but a hounding blister on his middle finger has limited his action.
