With a season filled with playoff hopes ahead of them, the Marlins full squad reports to Spring Training today.

After a down year at the plate last season, Jarrod Saltalamacchia is just focusing on improving at the plate and staying strong behind it:

"I take more pride in my defense than anything else," Saltalamacchia said. "There wasn't just one thing last year. I still haven't looked at the numbers. I don't know what they are but I know it wasn't what I wanted them to be or what I'm capable of. At the end of the year you know how you did. You don't have to look at the numbers. Not that I didn't give it everything I had, but I could have done better."
