Jose Fernandez trade rumors have been discussed consistently this winter. But Marlins President David Samson told MLB.com's Joe Frisaro the club still does not have any plans to move Fernandez.

Jeff Mathis has agreed to return to Miami on a one-year deal and is expected to backup J.T. Realmuto again in 2016.
