On MLB Network's "Hot Stove", Dee Gordon announced that his camp is talking to the Marlins about a possible extension. That news comes in spite of the fact that Gordon is not eligible for free agency until 2019.

Jose Fernandez put aside the rumors about his future and delivered turkeys to the local people of Miami for Thanksgiving yesterday.

The Marlins have been rumored to be shopping Marcell Ozuna this winter, and they may have found a trade partner in the Seattle Mariners.

The top of Miami's off-season to-do list: affordable, controllable starting pitching to stabilize the rotation heading into 2016.

Around the League

Jed Lowrie has been traded from the Astros to the Athletics for the second time in his career.

Veteran Bud Norris has signed a one-year deal to play for the Braves next year. He is hoping to bounce back after a rough season.

Alex Avila has left the Tigers to play for the White Sox on a one-year deal. His father, Al, is the GM of the Tigers.

David Price will be looking to cash in on the interest he is receiving from teams such as the Red Sox, Cardinals and Dodgers. Price could be the most coveted free agent of this year's class.
