If any assistant on Miami's coaching staff wants to pursue other options, there will be an opportunity to do so. According to MLB.com's Joe Frisaro, several Marlins coaches have been told the next manager will have the option of hiring his own coaches.

Miami is not expected to name a new manager quickly, but Manny Acta, Dusty Baker, Bo Porter and Larry Bowa are all candidates to take the job.
Although the Marlins' offense was inconsistent throughout 2015, Frank Menechino still deserves a notable amount of credit. Dee Gordon won the National League batting title and Menechino has helped several of Miami's younger core players produce consistently.
Chuck Hernandez has also had a fair amount of success with the Marlins' pitching staff. He was given the task of working with a young staff and was able to help young arms adjust as the Marlins were forced to overcome injuries.
The fates of Perry Hill, Lenny Harris and Bench Coach Mike Goff will all likely be determined by the new manager, however all three are known to be well-respected throughout the game.
Ultimately, the next Marlins manager will have the ability to form his own staff. But if he opts not to do so, several qualified internal candidates are available.
