Jennings reportedly has an offer to return to the Marlins' front office, however the amount of power he would have is unclear. He also expressed interest in returning as manager, but Miami is seeking an experienced candidate to take over next season.
Berger could very well be promoted to GM since he reportedly also has a good relationship with Owner Jeffrey Loria. If Jennings opted to pursue other opportunities, Berger would likely be the one to take his former job.
FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reported the Marlins have spoken to Rays Director of Personnel Matt Arnold about a front office position and he could join the organization is the coming weeks.
Miami wants to hire a new manager but will likely alter its front office before making any moves this offseason. The fact the club is not done making changes will likely prove to be beneficial given its struggles over the last few seasons.
