Brad Hand's last was a good one, and he will look to continue to prove he deserves a rotation spot. Hand tossed six shutout innings against Atlanta in his last outing, and allowed three runs in five innings in his last start against the Phillies.

Kyle Kendrick is coming off of a seven inning outings against the Pirates during which he allowed five runs. He has pitched well against Miami in his career, and tossed seven innings of two run baseball against the Marlins in July.
