Miami Marlins vs. Pittsburgh Pirates: Game 114 Thread and Ichthyomancy

After dropping game two of the series, the Miami Marlins will have another opportunity to win the three game set with the Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday night. Brian Flynn will oppose Edinson Volquez on the mound.

Coming off of a 7-3 loss to the Pirates on Wednesday night, the Miami Marlins will look to take the series in game three on Thursday. Brian Flynn will oppose Edinson Volquez on the mound.

With Jarred Cosart scratched as a result of a left oblique injury, the Marlins will turn to Brian Flynn to make the spot start. Flynn's lone appearance with the Marlins this season came against Oakland in June, when he pitched three innings and allowed two runs while striking out three.

Edinson Volquez pitched five and two third innings against the Diamondbacks in his last start, during which he allowed four runs (three earned) while walking two and striking out five.
