The Marlins reinstated Henderson Alvarez from the disabled list on Friday night in a move that sent Anthony DeSclafani to Triple-A. Alvarez has been a consistent arm for Miami and will look to continue his success against Arizona.
In his last start before being placed on the DL, Alvarez pitched seven shutout innings against the Nationals.
Wade Miley, who the Marlins were interested in prior to the non-waiver trade deadline, gets the start for the Diamondbacks. In his last outing, Miley went six innings and allowed three runs against the Rockies.

Miami will go with its usual left-handed pitcher lineup against Miley. Donovan Solano remains at second base, with Jeff Baker getting the start at third. Adeiny Hechavarria slides into the seven spot with Jeff Mathis catching Alvarez.
