The New Orleans Zephyrs won an extra innings thriller against the Round Rock Express Tuesday night. After going ahead 7-4 in the bottom of the 7th, a J.P. Arencibia three run homer knotted things up at seven in the top of the 8th. In the bottom of the 11th rightfielder Kyle Jensen sent a solo homerun deep into the night to give the Zephyrs an 8-7 victory.
Double A: Jacksonville Suns W 4-3 @ Pensacola Blue Wahoos

Suns shortstop Austin Nola finished just a home run shy of the cycle, and also drove in two runs leading Jacksonville to victory. The game was deadlocked at two in the top half of the 7th when Suns centerfielder Issac Galloway launched a solo homer to break the tie. Nola would later score on a J.T. Realmuto groundout, which turned out to be the deciding run in the 4-3 Suns victory.

Scott Lyman got knocked around as the Hammerheads fell to Palm Beach 5-3. Another farm-hand, Jesus Solerzano, flirted with the cycle finishing just a triple shy. Outfielder Cody Keefer contributed a pair of singles, and prospect Colin Moran went hitless for the second straight game, after previously coming off a seven game hitting streak.

The Greensboro Grasshoppers and Lexington Legends combined to score 28 runs in a 16-12 Grasshopper victory. Prospects Austin Dean and Avery Romero had four and three hits respectively in the slugfest. Dean also slugged a home run, scored two runs, and drove in four runs. The four hit day raised Dean's batting average to .310. Jarlin Garcia got win despite giving up 12 hits and six earned runs.
Short Season Class A: Batavia Muckdogs W 6-4 vs. State College Spikes

Brian Anderson continued his hot hitting in a 6-4 Muckdog win Tuesday night. Starting pitcher Gabriel Castellanos worked through a bout of control problems allowing only one unearned run, even though he walked five. First basemen Eric Fisher contributed three hits including a double, and a home run. Relief pitcher Josh Hodges struck out two in two scoreless innings to nail down the save.

In a rain shortened game the GCL Marlins dropped a low scoring contest 2-1 to the GCL Cardinals. Fifth round pick Casey Soltis recorded a hit, as did second round pick Justin Twine, and 4th round pick Brian Schales. After the 5th inning the rains came giving the Cardinals a victory.
