The Miami Marlins will look to even the series after falling to the New York Mets 7-1 on Friday night. Tom Koehler will be on the mound for the Marlins.

Coming off of a 7-1 loss to the Mets in the first game of the series, the Miami Marlins will look to bounce back in game two of the set on Saturday afternoon. Tom Koehler will oppose Daisuke Matsuzaka on the mound.

Henderson Alvarez's success against the Mets ended on Friday, and the Marlins will turn to Tom Koehler for a quality start. Koehler struggled his last time out, lasting just three innings while giving up seven runs and striking out two against the Diamondbacks.

Daisuke Matsuzaka, on the contrary, pitched well in his last outing against the Braves. In seven innings, he allowed six hits and no runs while walking two and striking out three.

Miami turns to its regular right-handed lineup in game two of the series. Donovan Solano starts at second and bats in the two hole, with Jarrod Saltalamacchia behind the plate and Adeiny Hechavarria batting eighth.

The Marlins scored just one run on Friday, and have had difficulty with runners in scoring position on the current roadtrip.
