Henderson Alvarez's success against the Mets ended on Friday, and the Marlins will turn to Tom Koehler for a quality start. Koehler struggled his last time out, lasting just three innings while giving up seven runs and striking out two against the Diamondbacks.

Daisuke Matsuzaka, on the contrary, pitched well in his last outing against the Braves. In seven innings, he allowed six hits and no runs while walking two and striking out three.
