Juan Diaz, SS: 1-4, 1 R, 1 RBI
Brad Hand, SP: 2.2 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 2 SO, 2 BB
The Nashville Sounds scored early and defeated New Orleans 6-4 on Sunday evening. After throwing a gem in his last start, Brad Hand struggled mightily. Hand only lasted 2 and 2-3 innings in his shortest outing of the season. The bullpen was not much better as Jesus Sanchez followed Hand's performance by allowing three runs in 2 and 1-3 innings, giving the Zephyrs an early deficit they would not recover from. The Zephyr offense was able to muster four runs on seven hits, but due to the poor pitching performances that was not enough.
