Coming off of a 2-4 road trip, the Miami Marlins begin a three game series with the Atlanta Braves at Marlins Park on Tuesday night. The Marlins lost two of three to the Braves in Atlanta last week and had difficulty getting runners in scoring position.

In a rematch of last week's matchup, Marlins ace Jose Fernandez will be on the mound and will oppose Atlanta's Alex Wood, who gave up one run which cost him the game in a 1-0 Miami victory.
Fernandez has been dominant his last few times out, most recently in the contest against the Braves during which he went eight innings and struck out 14 while not walking a batter. Wood struck out 11 in his eight innings against the Marlins, but a Giancarlo Stanton RBI-double plagued him.
Lineups
Miami scored just one run against Wood, who like Fernandez, has the ability to get a strikeout or ground ball whenever he needs it. Ed Lucas will make the start at second base, and Jeff Baker will start at first. Jarrod Saltalamacchia slides into the five spot with Jones' absence, and Adeiny Hechavarria remains in the eight hole.
Notes
-How will Fernandez pitch? The reigning NL Rookie of the Year has been solid, and the Marlins will need him to pitch well if they want to remain in contention.
-Will Miami provide Fernandez with support? One run was enough for Fernandez and Steve Cishek last week, but that may not be the case tonight.
