After pitching seven scoreless innings last week, Brian Flynn looked solid once again through the first four innings against Omaha. His fortunes reversed in the fifth, when he allowed a leadoff home run, followed by a double, and a single. He ended the night with a season 4.13 ERA.

Jacob Realmuto has looked much improved in the first three weeks of the season, posting a solid .317/.389/.476 triple-slash line. He has only struck out 8 times in 70 plate appearances. He also stole 5 bases without getting caught once.

In his four starts this season, Austin Brice has pitched two tremendous scoreless outings and two disasters in which he couldn't get the ball in the strike zone.

He survived the first inning, but began the second by loading the bases, and then walking in three batters. Reliever Frankie Reed was brought it, who quickly surrendered a grand slam. When the dust settled, Jupiter had allowed nine runs to score in one inning.
