Miami Marlins Prospects: AFL Report

New, comments

A look at how Marlins prospects such as Anthony DeSclafani and Austin Nola are performing in the Arizona Fall League.

The Arizona Fall League has begun and several Miami Marlins farmhands are playing for New Orleans Zephyrs manager Andy Haines on the Salt River Rafters. If you live in Arizona, I suggest going to check out this squad. In addition to the Marlins' prospects, this team features top prospects such as Mark AppelByron BuxtonArchie BradleyPeter O'Brien, and Max Kepler. All project to be stars or at least above average MLB regulars sometime soon. After five games, no Marlin has played more than two games, so unfortunately there is not much to look at. The Arizona Fall League plays its games usually during the day from Monday to Saturday with Sunday used as an off day. Let's see how the Marlins players have performed in their small samples.
