Tonight, the Miami Marlins are playing a baseball game versus the Colorado Rockies.
But tonight's game is not just any game. It's a big game. And it's a young man's game.
That's because tonight marks another start from Jose Fernandez and the first start of recently promoted prospects Christian Yelich and Jake Marisnick. These new future stars will step in against Jhoulys Chacin and the Rockies in Coors Field.
I won't be around prior to the game, hence the light preview, but you bet I'll be joining you all for tonight's very important game.
Bold Prediction: Marlins def. Rockies 4-2
UPDATE:
Lineup
Order | Player | Proj wOBA vs. RHP |
---|---|---|
1 | Adeiny Hechavarria | .270 |
2 | Christian Yelich | --- |
3 | Giancarlo Stanton | .394 |
4 | Logan Morrison | .355 |
5 | Ed Lucas | --- |
6 | Jake Marisnick | --- |
7 | Donovan Solano | .278 |
8 | Jeff Mathis | .255 |
9 | Pitcher | --- |
Actually, this is about what I expected from the revamped lineup card. Christian Yelich is being rightfully placed near the top of the lineup, and chances are he will soon be replacing a regressing Adeiny Hechavarria any time now. Giancarlo Stanton should be batting cleanup and Logan Morrison should probably bat second, but I do not ahve a whole lot of complaints otherwise.
