New Orleans stomped all over Jake Arrieta and the Iowa Cubs on Tuesday. Bryan Petersen had four of his team's fifteen hits, including a two-run homer in the sixth inning. Doug Mathis got far more than enough run support, and he took advantage of it, coasting through a scoreless seven innings.

Byron Buxton and the Fort Myers Miracle proved to be too much for the Hammerheads on Tuesday night. The Miracles hit Jake Esch hard early on in the game, and the Hammerheads could never come back. With the loss, Jupiter slips back to an even .500, at 43-43.

Scott Lyman was on top of his stuff at Whitaker Bank Ballpark on Tuesday. He pitched eight strong innings in his longest start of the season. Jesus Solorzano hit his 10th HR, only his second homer on the road in 2013. Solorzano is quietly having a very impressive season in Greensboro, posting career-high's in homers, stolen bases, and walks.

Batavia lost in front of just under 1900 spectators in Jamestown. Helpi Reyes didn't pitch very well and the Muckdogs as a team only had four hits on the night. Batavia falls to 10-11 with the loss.
