In case you had not heard, the Miami Marlins and New York Mets had quite a game yesterday. In fact, it was long enough to make up for that missed game on Friday. But now the Fish will try and break out the brooms and go for this fairly hefty mini-sweep.

It will be Tom Koehler versus Jon Niese on the mound. Koehler has been respectable as a starter in the last few weeks in place of Wade LeBlanc, while Niese has struggled all season and not looked like the pitcher the Mets had hoped for.

I will be missing out on this rubber game of their marathon two-game series, as I will be taking a practice test. Here's hoping Jigokusabre or some of you other Fish Stripers can join the party, as it sounded as though some of the Amazin' Avenue crew may drop by today. I' might poke my head in during breaks, but I do need to stay relatively focused. Hold the fort, Fish Stripers!
