Despite an ugly four errors, Greensboro managed to take West Virginia deep into extra innings on Friday night. West Virginia has one of the more interesting, star studded rosters in the SAL, including outstanding athletes like Barret Barnes and Stetson Allie. Even though Greensboro definitely lacks star power, they are still managing to stay in games against teams like West Virginia due to their ability to get to the opponent's bullpen early on. Facing Tyler Glasnow, a 6'7'' lefty, Greensboro stifled at the plate, but they still were able to get to the Power bullpen by the sixth inning. Greensboro falls to 32-35 on the season with the loss.
