The Miami Marlins are coming off of a nice win last night against the New York Mets, and now they conveniently have their best pitcher, Jose Fernandez, going to the mound to face the Mets again.

Naturally, disaster is on its way #MJIJ.

The Marlins send their best starter in Fernandez, who is still learning the ropes on the job in the majors but is doing much better than anyone expected. McHugh has a 12.00 ERA in two outings. It's rare we get to say this, but the Marlins actually have the edge in this matchup.

Seriously, Rob Brantly had better be injured, because there is no reason Jeff Mathis should be making two straight starts versus right-handed pitchers. Also, this is the second straight night off for Justin Ruggiano, who happens to lead the Marlins in WAR this season. Confusing stuff from the Fish, as always.

- I will not be around for the early portion of this game, as I'll be taking a practice exam. Stupid afternoon starts. Hopefully I'll catch the game after 6:00 PM.

Bold Prediction: Marlins def. Mets 4-3
