Triple-A: New Orleans Zephyrs
L 0-1 vs. Omaha Storm Chasers

Full Box Score

Gorkys Hernandez, CF: 0-for-4, 3 SO
Matt Downs, SS: 0-for-3, 1 SO
Kevin Mattison, LF: 0-for-3, 2 SO

Brian Flynn, SP: 6.2 IP, 6 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 5 SO

Brian Flynn pitched well in his second start in New Orleans, but the Zephyrs offense looked pitiful against the Storm Chasers, striking out ten times. Gorkys Hernandez earned a hat-trick.

Double-A: Jacksonville Suns
W 11-1 @ Jackson Generals

Full Box Score

Jake Marisnick, CF: 3-for-5, 2 R, 1 2B, 1 BB, 1 SO
Jacob Realmuto, C: 2-for-4

Jay Jackson, SP: 7.0 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 4 SO
Arquimedes Caminero, RP: 1.0 IP, 1 H

Jake Realmuto's two-hit game improved his season line to .226/.267/.366 - well below expectations for the young catcher. Realmuto has shown more power in Double-A, but his walk rate and strikeout rate have both worsened.

High Class A: Jupiter Hammerheads
W 10-6 @ Charlotte Stone Crabs

Full Box Score

Jeff Mathis, C: 2-for-4, 1 R, 1 SO
Noah Perio, 2B: 2-for-4, 1 R, 1 BB
Isaac Galloway, CF: 2-for-5, 2 R, 1 3B, 1 BB, 2 SO

Jose Urena, SP: 5.0 IP, 6 H, 6 R, 5 ER, 2 BB, 3 SO

Jose Urena has not quite hit his stride in high Class A ball yet, but thankfully the Hammerheads offense was ready to rescue him this time. Jeff Mathis returned from a collarbone injury, reaching base twice in his rehab start.

Low Class A: Greensboro Grasshoppers
W 8-1 @ West Virginia Power

Full Box Score

Yordy Cabrera, DH: 1-for-3, 2 R, 1 2B
Cody Keefer, LF: 2-for-4, 1 R

Scott Lyman, SP: 5.0 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 6 SO

Yordy Cabrera raised his season line to .221/.279/.389 off a line drive double to center. Cabrera struggled in High-A Stockton last year, which likely prompted the Marlins to place the 22-year-old in Greensboro. Scott Lyman pitched a personal season best in strikeouts and walks, which helped drop his ERA to 5.33.

West Virginia Power outfielder Josh Bell reached base once on a walk. Bell signed with Pittsburgh for $5 million in 2011, breaking the record for largest signing bonus of any non-first round pick.
