The Miami Marlins are trying to recover from a terrible three-game sweep at the hands of the San Diego Padres. The team now travels up to Los Angeles to face the surprisingly also-bad Los Angeles Dodgers in a three-game weekend set. The Fish will send out their latest potential superstar Jose Fernandez to the mound versus Matt Magill.

The Miami Marlins send out future star pitcher Jose Fernandez after his most impressive start against the Philadelphia Phillies. Last time Fernandez was on the mound, he struck out nine batters in seven innings, and that was against a better offense in Philadelphia's.
Who is Matt Magill? I have no idea. Over at True Blue LA, there was this quote by Magill from this article:
"I just want to be here, and help the team win as much as I can," Magill said on Monday. "If they think my stuff is good enough to be here, and I believe it is, then I'd rather be here in any role. That works for me."
That's the most I could find. OK kid, you'll make it, I guess. It is the Marlins' offense after all.

Notes
- I will not be here for this game, as I will be out as usual on Fridays. I will return as close to the end of the game as I can to catch the tail end and recap this wonderful affair.
