Jacob Turner pitched his best start of the season, allowing only four base-runners in six innings pitched. He walked at least three batters in each of his last two starts, but none yesterday. All three earned runs scored by way of sacrifice fly or ground out, a consequence of poor luck and a lack of strikeouts.

BayBears starter Anthony Meo kept the Suns scoreless through four innings, until they exploded for five runs in one inning, knocking him out of the game. Marcell Ozuna, Kyle Jensen, Jacob Realmuto, Audy Ciriaco, and Mark Canha all hit home runs on Sunday. Ozuna's two extra-base hits raised his season line to an impressive .302/.345/.679.
Zack Cox left the game in the fourth inning, after hitting a line drive single earlier in the afternoon.

Josh Hodges, SP: 5.0 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 3 SO
Jake Marisnick returned from the disabled list, reaching base once on a double. Austin Barnes had four hits, raising his season average to .362. The 23-year-old catcher only has three extra-base hits this season.
