#FishStripes: Dogs, Turtles and Dickie V

Marlins Park has been busy this week with Miami spending a homestand with the Mets and the Brewers. Over the last couple weeks, there were turtles visiting the Park, dogs wanting to find a new home, and Dick Vitale coming a little farther south to visit the new stadium.

We'll start off with our Tweet of the Week from Logan Morrison, and he seeks some of what Angels phenom Mike Trout is having:

Morrison isn't doing that badly out in left field this season, however. He's got a .959 fielding percentage with four errors alongside four assists. The league average is .985.

Meanwhile, we might want to look out for LoMo on Twitter:

His tweets are sometimes insightful and never becoming boring.

Our Play of the Week comes from Giancarlo Stanton, who hit this little knock off of now-vacationing Stephen Strasburg on Friday night:

Now to the fun stuff.

We'll start off with the Marlins showing a good time to a young fan who is battling a rare disorder.

The Marlins partnered with the Kids Wish Network on the preceding one. Good work out of the Marlins.

The team helped out another child with her dream, and it's a simple one. The comments on the "Cut4" Marlins page that accompanies this video, however, are just as interesting.

Some children could have had the ability to go home with a dog last week as well. See more from Cut4 here.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles made a cameo appearance this week at Marlins Park, and they became friends with Billy the Marlin:

Now, college basketball doesn't start for about a couple more months, but Dick Vitale is a huge baseball fan, and he visited the park recently:

The Marlins are in Philadelphia this week and head back home to host the Reds this weekend.
