Wade LeBlanc vs Wade Miley

Complete Coverage >

Well, the offensive firepower of the last few games couldn't last for the Miami Marlins, but the Fish cannot fret for their 3-2 loss this afternoon to the Arizona Diamondbacks. While the Marlins' offense was unable to get runners home in a few critical situations, the Fish had to at least be happy (if not ecstatic) that Jacob Turner performed so well in his Marlins debut.

But that's out of the question right now. The only thing that matters now is that the Fish have another game against the Diamondbacks tonight, and this time it will be a battle of the Wades, Wade LeBlanc and Wade Miley, for the second of the Double Ichthy Points games today.

Pitching Matchup

Proj Win% Proj ERA FIP ERA Marlins Diamondbacks ERA FIP Proj ERA Proj Win%

Order Player Proj wOBA vs. LHP

2 Donovan Solano .297
3 Jose Reyes .350
4 Carlos Lee .349
5 Austin Kearns .320
6 Justin Ruggiano .348
7 Rob Brantly ---
8 Donnie Murphy .297

Giancarlo Stanton and John Buck are the only players who are getting the nightcap off, though I'll bet at least Stanton will be available to pinch hit if necessary. Everyone else is playing the full 18, in part because of the Marlins' lack of bench depth due to injury.

- This is the second of two games today that are Double Ichthy Points games for Ichthyomancy. You know the rules, but here they are again:

1) All correct picks are worth double their usual points!

2) All incorrect non-attendance picks are worth -1 point. If there is no avaialble Hero of the Game, no one will be penalized.

3) If you make a light-enough pick that is still reasonable, I may consider it a 0-point pick for AAB, thus allowing you to "pseudo-pass" on making an AAB selection. But if you get that light pick wrong, it's -1 point. If it's too light (Marlins > 20 AB! Marlins >1 H!), your entire selection is invalid

Good luck to those making selections today!

Bold Prediction: Diamondbacks def. Marlins 4-0
