The Miami Marlins are coming home as dejected losers of five straight games, and they get the prize of facing the hated Atlanta Braves for their first challenger in a six-game home stand. With each loss, the Marlins creep closer to being "sellers" at the trade deadline and looking forward to a 2013 with contention in their minds. Meanwhile, the Braves sit atop the Wild Card standings at the moment and are looking to continue stretching a lead that has widened a little over the weekend.
I am excited about tonight's game mostly because I am going to be at the park tonight! If you are going to be at the park as well, make sure you come by and visit!

The last time we saw Mike Minor, he had two terrible innings and we scored a bunch of runs and won a game in Atlanta. The last time we saw Josh Johnson, he whiffed six batters but gave up a home run and struggled with hit-itis again. My bet is on Johnson doing a better job against the Braves than Minor does against the Marlins.

- I'll be in the Vista Reserved section tonight with my girlfriend, enjoying all-you-can-eat food of all kinds. This will be my second visit to the park and her first, so I am excited for her. If you are at the park, feel free to stop by, I am in row J, seats 1 and 2.
