Weekly Ichthomancy Update: July 9-14

In previewing Ichthyomancy for the second half, I mentioned that we would do a Weekly Ichthyomancy Championship and update players about their statuses each week rather than each month. With that in mind, we just completed our first week of Ichhtyomancy in the second half, and so I will follow through and show you guys the updated overall and second half standings through Saturday night's game.

Without further ado, let us look at the standings through Saturday's 2-1 victory.

Top Ten Leaderboard

We have a new face cracking the top ten, as game thread regular Andrew Townes broke through with good performances at the Home Run Derby and All-Star Game Ichthy threads. Another regular, whambam, jumped up in the standings and became the sixth player to break the 30-point mark overall.

At the top, we have ourselves a dogfight! Jigokusabre took advantage of SuperRadz's absence at the All-Star festivities Ichthy threads and closed the gap between the two; Jigo and SuperRadz are now separated by just one point! Jeremy Hulme trails the two leaders by seven points or so, but that can easily be closed.

Seven players recorded points in the short week last week, but Jigokusabre, Andrew Townes, and whambam were ahead of the pack by contributing a good amount in the Home Run Derby and All-Star Ichthyomancy threads. Those were worth four or five points easily and those points are harder to make up during the week! Jigokusabre in particular did a very good job during those games, putting up nine points in the Derby and ASG. As a result, Jigokusabre is your Weekly Ichthyomancy Champion for the week of July 9 to 14. Congratulations!
