The Marlins are going for the series win tonight.
Brad Hand takes the mound for the Marlins. In his last outing Hand was very Hand-like, he went 3.2 innings, giving 3 hits and only 1 run while walking 6. The lefty can be very effective if he can find the plate. Normally a pitcher works that out in his Minor League development but not in this case. The Marlins were forced to rush him and so it is on-the-job training. Hopefully he will be able to hit the zone tonight.
Chris Capuano gets the start for the Mets. Capuano in his last start went 5.2 innings, allowing 8 hits and 6 runs. But he somehow got the W. The Marlins faced him twice at the end of July and had some success winning both contests. Capuano can be tough but his problem is that he is prone to giving up a big inning. The lefty is basically a fastball (88 mph), slider, change pitcher. He is most effective when he can spot his fastball.
The Marlins starting lineup:
It's the basic lefty starting on the mound lineup.
Ichthyomancy is good to go.
Best of Luck to You!
